Efficient 6mm ARC Performance

The 6mm ARC is a modern centerfire cartridge developed to provide excellent ballistic efficiency, accuracy potential, and manageable recoil.

Its aerodynamic projectile options make it appealing to shooters interested in recreational precision shooting and appropriate hunting applications.

The Ruger American Gen 2 Patrol provides a compact bolt-action platform that complements the cartridge's versatile characteristics.

Compact 16-Inch Barrel

The 16-inch barrel distinguishes the Patrol configuration from longer American Gen 2 hunting rifles.

Its shorter length provides excellent maneuverability and makes the rifle easier to transport and handle in confined spaces.

Ruger's cold hammer-forged barrel construction provides a durable foundation for consistent shooting performance.

Graphite Black Cerakote Finish

The Graphite Black Cerakote finish gives the Patrol a distinctive appearance while providing enhanced protection against moisture, corrosion, and everyday wear.

This protective coating is particularly useful for firearms exposed to changing weather conditions, humidity, and regular outdoor use.

Combined with the Gray Splatter stock, the dark metal finish creates a clean, modern appearance.

Threaded Barrel with Factory Muzzle Brake

The rifle features a threaded muzzle equipped with a factory muzzle brake.

The brake is designed to help manage felt recoil and muzzle movement, contributing to a more comfortable shooting experience.

The threaded configuration also allows compatibility with appropriately rated alternative muzzle accessories where lawful.

Always verify thread specifications, caliber compatibility, and manufacturer requirements before changing muzzle devices.

Gray Splatter Synthetic Stock

The Gray Splatter synthetic stock combines modern styling with rugged, weather-resistant construction.

Its durable material resists moisture-related dimensional changes, making it suitable for a wide range of outdoor conditions.

The improved Generation II stock design provides practical ergonomics and accommodates adjustable fit components.

Ruger Marksman Adjustable Trigger

The Ruger Marksman Adjustable Trigger provides a crisp, predictable trigger break.

Its adjustable design allows the trigger pull to be configured within Ruger's approved range, accommodating individual shooting preferences.

A consistent trigger supports shooter confidence and helps shooters take advantage of the rifle's accuracy potential.

Three-Lug Bolt with 70-Degree Lift

The American Gen 2 Patrol features a three-lug bolt design with a 70-degree lift.

This configuration provides convenient clearance around mounted optics and supports smooth, efficient bolt operation.

The design combines the reliability of a traditional bolt-action rifle with modern ergonomic improvements.

Ruger Power Bedding System

Ruger's Power Bedding integral bedding system secures the receiver within the stock and helps maintain consistent alignment.

Combined with the free-floating barrel, this system minimizes unwanted stock pressure and supports repeatable accuracy.

The result is a stable foundation for recreational target shooting and field applications.

Adjustable Stock Fit

The second-generation Ruger American platform incorporates an improved stock system designed to accommodate different shooters.

An adjustable length-of-pull system provides flexibility in stock fit, while interchangeable comb components allow customization of cheek height for different optic configurations.

These features contribute to comfortable, consistent shooting positions.

Factory Picatinny Optics Rail

The factory-installed Picatinny rail provides a convenient mounting interface for compatible riflescopes and optic mounting systems.

This allows shooters to select optics suited to their intended sporting application without requiring a separate receiver rail.

Detachable Magazine System

The detachable magazine system provides convenient loading and unloading.

Its removable configuration complements the compact Patrol design and simplifies routine firearm handling and storage.

Magazine capacity and compatibility should be verified using the exact Ruger model number.

Compact Patrol Configuration

The Ruger American Gen 2 Patrol emphasizes practical handling and versatility.

Its combination of 6mm ARC chambering, 16-inch barrel, factory muzzle brake, adjustable trigger, and weather-resistant Gray Splatter stock creates a compact sporting rifle designed for shooters who value portability and dependable performance.

Modern Ruger American Gen 2 Engineering

The American Rifle Generation II platform builds upon the original Ruger American's reputation for practical accuracy, reliability, and value.

Improvements to stock ergonomics, bolt operation, exterior finishes, and configuration options make the Gen 2 Patrol an attractive choice for shooters seeking modern features in a compact bolt-action rifle.
