.25 Creedmoor Chambering

The .25 Creedmoor chambering brings modern quarter-bore performance to the CVA Cascade XT platform. Based around the Creedmoor cartridge family, it provides a contemporary option for shooters interested in efficient .25-caliber rifle performance.

Pairing this chambering with the Cascade XT's 22-inch barrel creates a versatile configuration for hunters and shooters seeking a balance between field maneuverability and ballistic performance.

22-Inch Contour Barrel

The 22-inch contour barrel provides a substantial platform designed around consistent performance while retaining practical dimensions for field use.

The barrel length offers a useful balance for a hunting rifle, avoiding the excessive overall length associated with longer barrels while providing appropriate barrel length for the .25 Creedmoor chambering.

Fluted Barrel Design

Precision-machined barrel fluting removes material from the exterior of the barrel, reducing weight compared with an otherwise equivalent solid contour while maintaining the advantages of a substantial barrel profile.

The fluting also gives the Cascade XT its distinctive performance-oriented appearance.

Threaded Muzzle

The barrel features a factory-threaded muzzle, allowing installation of compatible muzzle devices when appropriate.

Always verify the exact factory thread specification and accessory compatibility before installation. Follow CVA and accessory-manufacturer requirements regarding installation, alignment, and torque.

OD Green Synthetic Stock

The OD Green synthetic stock gives the Cascade XT a rugged, field-oriented appearance while providing durability for demanding outdoor environments.

Unlike traditional wood stocks, synthetic construction is less susceptible to dimensional changes caused by moisture and changing weather conditions, making it particularly well suited to a hunting rifle.

Free-Floating Barrel

The Cascade XT incorporates a free-floating barrel configuration designed to minimize unwanted contact between the barrel and stock.

This design helps promote repeatable barrel harmonics and supports the rifle's accuracy-focused construction.

Adjustable Trigger

An adjustable trigger system allows the rifle's trigger characteristics to be configured within the manufacturer's specified adjustment range.

A clean, predictable trigger can help shooters maintain proper sight alignment and minimize unnecessary rifle movement during the shot.

Optics-Ready Platform

The Cascade XT is designed around the use of a rifle scope or other compatible sighting system, making it easy to configure the rifle around hunting or precision-oriented optics.

Select bases, rings, and optics appropriate for the rifle and follow the respective manufacturers' mounting and torque specifications.

Hunting & Field Performance

The combination of a 22-inch fluted barrel, threaded muzzle, synthetic ODG stock, adjustable trigger, and .25 Creedmoor chambering creates a versatile rifle configuration for hunters who value manageable dimensions without sacrificing performance-oriented features.

Ergonomic Stock Design

The Cascade XT stock is shaped around practical field handling, providing comfortable gripping surfaces and a stable interface for supported and unsupported shooting positions.

Its synthetic construction also makes the rifle easier to maintain after exposure to typical outdoor hunting conditions.

Care & Maintenance

Always verify that the rifle is completely unloaded before cleaning, inspection, adjustment, transportation, or storage.

Follow the CVA owner's manual for recommended barrel cleaning, bolt maintenance, lubrication, trigger adjustment, and storage procedures. Periodically inspect the threaded muzzle and protect the threads when no compatible muzzle accessory is installed.

Warranty Information

The CVA Cascade XT is covered according to CVA's current applicable manufacturer warranty. Warranty eligibility, duration, exclusions, limitations, and service procedures are governed by CVA's current written warranty documentation.
