Compact 22-Inch Barrel

The 22-inch barrel keeps the CVA Scout Spur compact and maneuverable, an important advantage when navigating timber, blinds, brush, and other confined hunting environments.

Its shorter overall configuration also makes the shotgun comfortable to carry during extended hunts without sacrificing the straightforward performance hunters expect from a purpose-built single-shot platform.

Patriot Brown Cerakote Finish

A Patriot Brown Cerakote finish gives the barrel a distinctive earth-tone appearance while providing an additional protective exterior coating.

Cerakote is well suited to hunting firearms that may encounter moisture, dirt, changing temperatures, and regular field handling. The subdued brown finish also pairs naturally with the shotgun's Mossy Oak Bottomland camouflage.

Mossy Oak Bottomland Camo Stock

The Mossy Oak Bottomland camouflage stock gives the Scout Spur a classic hunting appearance designed to blend naturally into wooded environments.

Bottomland's bark-inspired pattern is especially at home around timber, tree lines, blinds, and other environments where breaking up the shotgun's profile can be beneficial.

Simple Break-Action Reliability

The Scout Spur's break-action, single-shot design keeps operation straightforward. Opening the action provides direct access to the chamber for loading, unloading, and visual inspection.

With fewer operating components than many repeating shotgun designs, the break-action platform offers the simplicity and field-friendly operation many hunters appreciate.

Lightweight 28 Gauge Hunting Platform

The 28 Gauge configuration provides hunters with a compact alternative to larger-gauge shotguns. Combined with the Scout Spur's single-shot action and 22-inch barrel, it creates a highly portable package that's easy to carry and maneuver during long days in the field.

Built for the Hunting Environment

From its synthetic camo stock to its Cerakote-finished barrel, the CVA Scout Spur is configured around real-world hunting use. The combination provides a durable exterior that is easier to maintain than traditional unfinished or highly polished hunting configurations.

For hunters navigating thick cover or spending extended periods in a blind, the compact dimensions and subdued finishes make the Scout Spur an especially practical platform.

Loading & Use

Always follow the CVA owner's manual and all standard firearm-safety procedures. Keep the shotgun pointed in a safe direction and verify the chamber is empty before handling, cleaning, transportation, or storage.

Use only factory-loaded 28 Gauge ammunition of the shell length and specifications approved by CVA for this model. Confirm all ammunition and choke requirements in the manufacturer's documentation before use.

Care & Maintenance

After field use, inspect and clean the barrel, chamber, action, and exterior surfaces according to CVA recommendations. Remove moisture, dirt, powder residue, and other contaminants before storage.

Although Cerakote and the synthetic stock provide excellent field-oriented durability, routine cleaning and proper storage remain important for maintaining the shotgun's appearance and reliable operation.

Warranty Information

The CVA Scout Spur 28 Gauge Break Action Shotgun is covered according to CVA's applicable manufacturer warranty. Warranty coverage, eligibility, exclusions, duration, and service procedures are subject to CVA's current written warranty terms.
