Proven Beretta Gas-Operated Action

At the heart of the A300 Ultima is Beretta's proven gas-operated semi-automatic system. The action is engineered to provide reliable cycling while producing a smooth shooting experience well suited to high-volume hunting and range sessions.

The straightforward operating system also helps make the A300 Ultima an attractive choice for hunters who want proven Beretta semi-auto performance in a practical field shotgun.

28-Inch Barrel for Versatile Field Performance

The 28-inch barrel provides the smooth swing and balanced handling hunters expect from a versatile 12-gauge shotgun. Its length makes the A300 Ultima well suited to crossing waterfowl, flushing upland birds, and other moving targets.

Combined with interchangeable choke capability, the barrel allows hunters to tailor patterns to different ammunition, hunting conditions, and distances.

3-Inch Chamber

A 3-inch chamber provides excellent ammunition versatility, accommodating compatible 2-3/4-inch and 3-inch 12-gauge shotshells.

This versatility allows the A300 Ultima to transition between target loads, upland ammunition, and heavier hunting loads as appropriate for the intended application.

Kick-Off Recoil Reduction System

Beretta's Kick-Off recoil reduction technology is one of the standout features of the A300 Ultima platform. The system is designed to absorb and manage recoil forces before they reach the shooter.

Reduced felt recoil can provide greater comfort during long days in the blind or at the range while helping shooters maintain control for faster follow-up shots.

Mossy Oak Bottomland Camouflage

The Mossy Oak Bottomland finish gives this A300 Ultima a classic hunting appearance while helping break up the shotgun's profile in wooded and wetland environments.

With its bark-inspired natural pattern, Bottomland is particularly well suited to flooded timber, tree lines, blinds, and other environments encountered by serious waterfowl and turkey hunters.

Oversized Controls

Field conditions aren't always ideal, which is why the A300 Ultima incorporates oversized operating controls designed for confident manipulation.

The enlarged bolt handle and bolt release provide easier access, particularly when wearing hunting gloves or operating the shotgun in cold and wet conditions.

Enlarged Loading Port

An enlarged loading port provides additional clearance when loading shells into the magazine, helping make operation quicker and more convenient.

This field-oriented feature complements the oversized controls and reinforces the A300 Ultima's practical hunting design.

Beretta Mobilchoke System

The Beretta Mobilchoke system allows shooters to change choke constriction to better match their hunting application, ammunition, and expected shooting distance.

Whether configuring the shotgun for waterfowl, upland birds, turkey hunting, or sporting use, interchangeable chokes provide valuable patterning flexibility.

Always verify choke and ammunition compatibility, particularly when using steel or other non-lead shot.

Fiber-Optic Front Sight

A highly visible fiber-optic front sight provides a clear reference point while maintaining the fast, instinctive sight picture required for moving targets.

This configuration works especially well in the changing light conditions commonly encountered during early-morning and late-afternoon hunts.

Durable Synthetic Hunting Stock

The synthetic stock provides the durability required for demanding hunting environments without the moisture sensitivity associated with traditional wood.

Combined with the Mossy Oak Bottomland finish, it creates a field-ready shotgun designed for exposure to rain, mud, vegetation, and changing temperatures.

Hunting Versatility

The combination of 12 Gauge capability, a 3-inch chamber, 28-inch barrel, interchangeable choke system, gas operation, and recoil-reducing technology makes the A300 Ultima an exceptionally versatile hunting shotgun.

Its configuration is especially well suited for:

• Waterfowl hunting
• Upland bird hunting
• Turkey hunting with appropriate ammunition and choke
• Dove and small-game hunting
• Clay and recreational shooting

Use & Maintenance

Use only 12 Gauge ammunition of a shell length and type approved by Beretta for this shotgun. Always confirm choke compatibility with the ammunition being used.

Before cleaning, inspection, transportation, or storage, completely unload the shotgun and verify the chamber and magazine are empty. Follow the Beretta owner's manual for recommended gas-system cleaning, barrel maintenance, lubrication, choke care, and inspection intervals.
