The Sandvik 14C28Nstainless steel serrated blade has the known durability of Sandvik steel, as well as the extended cutting surfaceof the serrated blade, also ideal for cutting rope and fabric. Like many other Kershaw knives, the Leek pocket knife features the SpeedSafe assisted opening system, deploying the blade either by index opening, or thethumb stud. Unlike many other Kershaw knives, the Leek serrated knife features the safety of a frame lock mechanism,which secures the blade in place inside the frame to prevent the blade moving from the open position during use. TheLeek by Kershaw and Ken Onion also features a tip safety lock, which prevents the knife from opening unless released bythe user.
